Ed "Wurzel" White - RhythmGuitar / Vocals
Ed's professional musical ability has spanned over many years. He has played with various artists throughout the West Country and adds another dimension to Goldie Rox with his wonderful rhythm and beautiful vocal harmonies. He also has the added advantage that he is the spitting of Santa Claus so we can dress him up at Christmas. He even has the right spectacles.
Mickey "Styx" Lock - Drums / Vocals
Mickey first started playing in the late 60's after forming a band called 'Unique Sound' in 1969 and has played with various bands through the years including 'Rising Sun' and 'Sydling Stompers'. Since joining ‘Goldie Rox’ his proven track record continues and his drive and enthusiasm encompasses the band to complete the rich and dynamic sound. Just ask him to play "Wipeout"!
James Mason - Lead Guitar
James is largely self
taught but his passion for guitar playing began in his school years, with
lessons from a local gigging guitarist. Over the years he has played in
various bands such as 'Running On Empty' and 'The Thieves', performing a wide
range of covers and original material.
Dinger brings over 40 years of musical experience and knowledge with him and adds much depth to the overall sound of Goldie Rox. He is a bit of a dark horse is our "Dinger"!
Sally has fronted bands from the 90s to present day, such as "Design", Ivory" and more recently "V6". She has had professional vocal training from local voice coaches James Davies and Janet Stockley, (Janet being the founder member of Weymouth's WOW Musical Theatre). She has now formed "Goldie Rox" and continues to forge on in the environment she is most comfortable in, offering an extended vocal range in songs from various eras whether male or female led.
Martyn Bell - Keyboard
Martyn
is an exceptionally talented musician bringing in richness and depth in perfect
harmony on the keyboard. He does this
with such ease and enriches the overall sounds, blending and matching perfectly
with each song.
