We debuted at the Ocean Room, Pavillion, Weymouth on 29 January 2011 to raise money for Heroes Haven, Swanage. This is a charity which has been set up to raise money for members of the armed forces who have served in Iraq and Afghanistan and have lost limbs. The aim is to raise enough money to build a specially adapted chalet holiday home for these much deserving people and their families in Swanage, to enjoy their holiday.
It was a fantastic night and we opened the evening with our version of "Maria" (Blondie Version). We did a version of Don't Speak which we dedicated to Wendy, wife of Mark Gerrard of Pegasus Disco who with people such as Linda Walsh and Lynne Connor did such a wonderful job of putting the evening together.
